Groundwork has been chosen as one of the 6 charities supported by PwC Foundation's fundraising challenge: Race for £3 million. The aim is to raise £3 million for charities tackling health, education and employability issues.

Funds raised by PwC employees are supporting young people increase their confidence and skills by attending a Groundwork Green team programme. PWC employees are also providing CV workshops and employability skills workshops to young people on the programme.

Groundwork’s Green Team initiative helps groups of NEET (not in education, employment or training) young people introduced to real-life landscape and construction projects in their communities. Through the programme young people gain practical training as well qualifications to get them set up for a job in the landscape and construction industry.

David Adair, Head of Community Affairs at PwC said:
"Our partnership with Groundwork will allow PwC to increase our social and environmental impact, while supporting young people to gain the skills and experience needed to find employment."
