Age of Opportunity is a new project that supports those over 50 in Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire who are currently unemployed or economically inactive to help improve their skills and employability.
Our mentors will work closely with you to tackle any barriers you may have. This includes things like poor health, lack of confidence, outdated skills, age discrimination and caring responsibilities.
You might want to acquire new skills, or improve your confidence, whether it's to find work, or perhaps just to go out of your front door for the first time in years. For others, it can be about increasing motivation and self esteem after years of being out of work, or suddenly being made redundant.
Whatever your individual needs, we can help.
