"I was on a course called BEST when I was phoned by the Job Centre and offered an application form for the Green Doctor role. It sounded interesting but I'd had interviews offered before so I wasn't expecting anything. Once I'd had my inteview, my mind started ticking - I started thinking about things like climate change and what I'd actually be doing and all the interaction with other people. "I'm looking forward to getting out there and putting what I've learnt into practice. I can't see a fault with the Green Doctor service, it works well. "Once I've completed my City & Guilds qualification, it'll be an actual paper qualification, which is really important in the market at the moment. It means I can do more to mitigate climate change in the future or work in the same field."
