Groundwork UK, National Housing Federation and Aspire Foundation are seeking a senior development professional to drive forward an exciting and high profile project. Under the working title Green Light the partners are building a coalition and campaign with the potential to create thousands of jobs for young unemployed people through the creation and expansion of social enterprises.
A vision, a strategic direction and a broad action plan are in place. The rest is up to you. The role will involve mapping the landscape, championing the cause, building the relationships and making things happen.
The role would suit a confident self-starter currently working at senior manager, policy lead or director level in a relevant organisation or in a consultancy capacity. You will need to have credibility, creativity and the ability to navigate complex organisational waters. To secure the right candidate the partners are prepared to offer significant flexibility in terms of location, remuneration and working arrangements.
Salary c £40k-£50k pro-rata (negotiable subject to experience)
