Blue Sky was set up to give paid grounds-maintenance and recycling work to people coming out of prison so that they can move successfully into long-term employment. Together, we help them break the cycle of re-offending and achieve long-term benefits for society. It’s a vital service which could only be enhanced by your strengths in devising and executing a targeted marketing strategy.
As an award winner we have been recognised as “an exceptional social enterprise,” by Charles Clarke MP, former Home Secretary. We have ambitious plans for the future and are looking for an outstanding professional to play a key role in executing them.
About the job
You’ll develop business opportunities for Blue Sky and its franchisees in the private or public sector. Developing relationships which cement future as well as existing business, you’ll collaborate with our current franchisees to monitor the quality of our delivery. In addition, you’ll also work with prospective franchisees to make sure we achieve our ambitious target of national reach.
About you
You must be of graduate calibre, and will certainly have a good grasp of contract negotiations and how to build successful business relationships. You’ll be experienced in working across sectors, and a strong presenter. A clear focus on the development and delivery of new complex programmes will be essential, while any knowledge of the criminal justice system would be a real plus.
What we offer
In return, we can offer outstanding benefits including a competitive salary, generous annual leave, and a contributory pension. This organisation is going places and the successful candidate can expect to build skills in social entrepreneurship and gain invaluable personal development.
