Groundwork is one of the leading regeneration charities in the UK. Working with local communities, and statutory, private and voluntary sector partners, we help to create sustainable communities and environments in which people are proud to work and live.
We are looking for a leader with energy and vision to build on our success and develop our future in the south east of England where three local Groundwork charities have recently joined together to form a new organisation .
The Director will lead a team of about 90 staff including community and youth workers, landscape designers, business advisors, educationalists and more. He or she will have the foresight to identify new opportunities in a rapidly changing market, and the business acumen to create and deliver an innovative business plan.
We will be looking for a proven capability in managing multiple projects, a record of proactive business development and experience in a changing and growing organisation.
