Thames Gateway South Essex Leading a Low Carbon Economy Programme
Full time – Maximum 3 year Fixed Term Contract up to 31st December 2012
Salary: £23,385 to £25,557
Location: Groundwork South Essex Offices, The Green Room, Thundersley, Essex (50%) and Thurrock Council, Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, Essex RM17 6SL(50%)
Job Aim: This post will be split 50:50 between managing events and workshops designed to deliver the Engagement and Awareness component of the TGSE Leading a Low Carbon Economy programme on behalf of the partnership and other key partnership events. The remaining 50% of their time will be spent undertaking similar duties in Thurrock. Whilst the post holder will focus primarily on the Engagement and Awareness phase of the programme they will be required to support, as required, all aspects of operational delivery and compliance required to achieve the Programme’s desired outputs and anticipated impact as outlined in the Work Plan and work with businesses to support the development of environmental policies and grant funding applications
The total value of the programme is £6.3 million over 3 calendar years (2010 to 2012). This post will be directly responsible for managing a total grant budget of approximately £122k
