The Trust wishes to develop and deliver a programme of community led environmental regeneration initiatives working in partnership with a variety of groups and organisations across East Durham with the direct aim of building sustainable communities and raising the quality of life within areas of need.
We require a well motivated and enthusiastic individual to work with local communities to develop and deliver projects which improve local communities. The post will concentrate on allotment gardening and health and will require weekend and evening work.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject the successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with community groups and delivering environmental regeneration work in formal or informal. An interest or knowledge of health issues and allotment gardening initiatives would be beneficial.
