We are currently recruiting the following personnel:

STEPPING OUT CO-ORDINATOR

 Salary Range: £22,128 to £24,450pa

Fixed Term Until July 2011

Location: based within the County Boroughs of Caerphilly & Torfaen

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week

(flexibility is required for evening and weekend work)

The main objective of this role is to lead in the delivery of practical and achievable solutions to address health inequalities for disadvantaged individuals and groups living in the County Boroughs of Caerphilly and Torfaen.  The role involves networking with local community groups and individuals, co-ordinating a multi-agency partnership and promoting the project throughout the identified geographical area to the target group.

Projects include delivering a variety of fun and innovative low-moderate intensity physical activity opportunities based around walking, cycling and general environmental community action in order to address the health and well being of targeted local residents.

The successful individual will need to have relevant proven experience for the above role.
