Groundwork UK – Network Connectivity Requirements

Deadline: 12pm,  Friday 9th March 2012

GROUNDWORK UK, LOCKSIDE OFFICE - NETWORK CONNECTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

Groundwork supports communities in need, working with partners to improve the quality of people’s lives, their prospects and potential, and the places where they live, work and play.

Groundwork’s vision is of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise prosper. We work alongside communities, public bodies, private companies and other voluntary sector organisations to deliver projects and programmes that bring about concurrent social, economic and environmental benefits.

The GroundworkUK organisation, located at the Lockside Office facility in Birmingham and at Fourways House, Manchester, is engaged, predominantly, in managing a number of major national and regional initiatives around skills training and employment, young people development, community work and environmental improvement initiatives.  There is significant marketing activity associated with these themes.

Recent changes associated with the systems landscape has, however, created a need to review and modify the organisations network requirements to match the new application environment.

Groundwork UK invites firm tenders for the provision of network services to support the organisations business operations.

Tender details can be found in this document.

Submitting a bid

Queries on the tender may be made up until noon on the 2nd March 2012 by contacting Malcolm Elwell (ICT Transformation Manager) malcolm.elwell@groundwork.org.uk

Bids must be received by 12pm on 9th March2012 and must be submitted in accordance with the instructions in the invitation to tender and should be sent under sealed envelope to:

The envelope must clearly describe the contents (including the reference number TP-ME004 and the words 'Tender Documents Enclosed') in order that the tender document can remain unopened until the due date and time.

If this is not followed, or the bid is received after the deadline, this will result in the tender becoming null and void.
