Unique opportunity for a Senior Outreach Officer to join Groundwork’s Together South programme to lead and co-ordinate outreach activity in Kent.
Together South in Kent is designed to support 100 refugees and migrants by assisting their integration into UK society through a programme of holistic activities delivered through 3 key areas: Language, Preparation for Work and UK Cultural Insights.
As someone with outreach or community engagement experience, you will have a strong understanding of the challenges refugee and migrant communities face in Kent. You will have proven experience of building strong relationships with refugee and migrant communities as well as organisations and other service providers.
The postholder will introduce, register, and support clients throughout the individual’s time on the project. Attention to detail, secure data management and understanding of confidentiality are all essential to the role.
You will be an excellent written and verbal communicator, who enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary team to support the project clients. You will have experience in working towards targets and deadlines and will excel at managing your own workload.
