How to contact our team nationally and around the country
This half-day training course provides essential background information and practical know-how to enable your staff to deal with an environmental incident.
Firstly we look at the key areas of legislation surrounding environmental pollution. This sets the context for what is to follow and underlines the importance of the training.
Prevention is better than cure, so we focus on techniques and precautions that can be taken to avoid the on-site hazards that can lead to an incident.
Finally we lead delegates in a practical demonstration dealing with a mock spillage on site. We'll show you how to use spill kits and other on-hand materials to minimise the environmental impact if something does go wrong.
This course is generally provided "in-house" to delegates from the same company or supply chain. Open courses may be available.
