How to contact our team nationally and around the country
Groundwork works with people in their communities to make a real difference to the local environment and local quality of life. We know that making places cleaner and greener can also make them safer. We seek to harness a crucial catalyst for change: community pride.
Groundwork finds out what’s really important to different groups within local communities. We use a range of techniques and approaches to gather and analyse information from questionnaires and consultation events through to participatory learning and action techniques and online surveys. Innovative approaches such as youth inclusion sports events, arts programmes, intergenerational activities or community fairs can help to attract the target audience to the consultation.
What makes Groundwork’s consultation and engagement services different is our local knowledge, contacts and understanding of what works in different neighbourhoods. We seek to capture people’s interest and engage hard to reach groups on a range of initiatives from small scale environmental improvements to whole neighbourhood plans. And we aim to leave behind communities that have learned from the process and have the skills to do more for themselves.
