Location: Newcastle The Green Gym aims to increase particpants health and wellbeing through a series of practical activities that help to improve the local environment.
Location: South Shields The Horsley Hill Gardening Scheme demonstrates how partnership working can help the community.
Location: Rochdale Helping local unemployed people to gain new skills and work experience whilst making improvements to their neighbourhood.
Location: Bramley Primary School, Leeds Groundwork worked with children and parents to build a cob oven as part of the school gardening area. This was run as an after school extracurricular activity to bring parents into the school community.
Location: Colshaw Farm, Wilmslow Colshaw Farm Recreation area was a haven for anti-social behaviour but now is well used for sports and BMX.
Location: Wigan Taking community action and skilling up young people on Wigan's Greenheart regional park.
Location: Acklam The Spots v Stripes team organised a family fun day at Acklam Rugby Clubwith many fun activities for all ages.
Location: Darlington Darlington Play Service provides open access play provision for children and young people aged 5 to 13 years living in Darlington.
Location: Skelton Young people in Skelton have been learning new skills to help brighten up their local community.
Location: Saint John the Baptist School, East Avenue, Leicester Five Leicester schools have been working towards lowering CO2 emissions over the last 6 months as part of the Carbon Trust’s School Collaboration on Resource Efficiency (SCoRE) project.
