Location: North Belfast Glenbank Community Complex in North Belfast, secured just under £49k from the Alpha Programme and developed a trim trail and recreational area in the attractive woodland surroundings of their Centre.
Location: Young people designed and created their own outdoor space so they could relax and grow their own food.
Location: Waterhead, Oldham We help Ferranti Technologies make big cost savings from their compressed air system.
Location: Leicester This scheme aimed to provide an allotment for people who wanted to learn about gardening and growing their own food and sourced grants to improve existing allotment sites.
Location: Westmill Estate, Hitchin, Hertfordshire The CAYPOW project is the culmination of a 3 year Groundwork project of youth engagement on the disadvantaged Westmill housing estate in Hitchin. The project aims to get the voices of young people heard in their community and give them a positive profile.
Location: Lincolnshire Promoting health and wellbeing in the community with events, facilities and advice for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Location: Local people help us to transform open spaces into nature reserves and manage them as valuable resources for the whole community.
Location: Gosport The South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) acquired 82.4 ha/204 acres of land which surrounds the airfield at the former HMS Daedalus site. Groundwork is commissioned as the community consultant for the project.
Location: Erewash Borough This project promoted recycling and educated young people and communities on where their waste goes and what impact it has on the environment.
