Community Spaces doesn’t just fund playgrounds and parks, but offers funding to groups that are restoring heritage projects as well. The South Tynedale Railway Preservation society is one just project that has been successful in securing a £100,000 grant to restore what is a beloved tourist attraction in Northumberland.
