How to contact our team nationally and around the country
Groundwork is working with npower to deliver the Climate Cops Green Fingers project in ten competition-winning schools in urban areas across the UK.
Climate Cops Green Fingers is a national programme run in selected inner-city schools that aims to provide innovative outdoor classrooms for creative and inventive learning and address a lack of quality green space for 4 to 7 year olds.
In these living outdoor classrooms teaching staff will also be trained in environmental education in order to support children in using their green space now and in the future.
On top of the hands-on guidance provided by Groundwork, participating schools also receive written professional advice on the maintenance and long-term use of their outdoors green space.
In order to make the outdoors classrooms a reality npower volunteers are also enlisted to provide landscaping, construction and horticultural services for the schools.
