How to contact our team nationally and around the country
The Adventure on your Doorstep programme aimed to deliver ten new play spaces that promote adventure and environmental responsibility, by using natural materials and settings. The play sites have been designed to encourage children to appreciate the natural environment, and the opportunities for play and imagination that this provides, as well as developing new landscape design solutions to take account of climate change impacts.
Each of the ten projects have been tailored to the needs of the individual community through multi-disciplinary teams bringing together landscape architects, community development workers and youth workers. Young people have been involved in the development and maintenance of the spaces, so to promote youth engagement and help address anti-social behaviour.
We work alongside communities, public bodies, private companies and voluntary sector organisations.
