This project has developed a naturalised play area on an under utilised part of a recreation ground in Coningsby, Lincolnshire, addressing the previous lack of recreational facilities for teenagers. The play area includes mounds, logs and wooden beam trails, and accompanies a BMX track designed by local young people. The mixture of formal and informal elements set in a natural landscape, offers excellent play value for a wide range of ages and abilities. The local community now have an excellent recreational facility for young people and adults alike.
