How to contact our team nationally and around the country
Since 1980 Glencairn Daycare Centre has provided daycare for people aged over 65. It currently supports 30-35 Glencairn residents, with the overall aims of providing a respite period for their carers and running a stimulating programme of activities to improve the physical and mental ability of centre users and help improve people’s quality of life.
The project has benefited the centre users, as they are able to sit out in the garden and mix with local residents from the area - who also use the garden to relax. The project has provided an attractive, safe and secure green space for the community to use as an informal meeting point for the area.
