This project has transformed Great Linford park and play area in Milton Keynes, which was in great need of improvement. The site was chosen with the involvement of local M&S staff based on surrounding estate deprivation and the high level of use by local children.
The project resulted in families spending more time in Great Linford Park –although the park was used before, the equipment is better and more suitable for a wider range of children. Also parents have a place to sit, which means they are more comfortable while the children play. The new equipment demands greater energy providing children with exercise while they’re having fun.
