The Vauxhall Road play area is located in Scholes, within the Ince Ward of Wigan. Prior to investment from the Greener Living Spaces programme, the site was a run down, neglected and vandalised play area with limited equipment.
The Greener Living Spaces project is the final phase in an improvement programme to create new play facilities in the park. The project has been designed to create a new community play area for families and young people of all age groups.
