Worklessness

Image: group of young people working in woodlandDespite years of investment, pockets of deprivation in towns and cities have remained relatively untouched.  Increasing employment amongst workless individuals will help to kickstart the local economy, which in turn brings greater prosperity for the whole region.

Having a job does not just take people off benefits - it also improves their health and well-being.

Projects which develop social skills can boost self-confidence.  We aim to provide practical work experience which can often be a springboard to employment, training or education opportunities.
