Flowers to the people

Grow Wild logoWhat could you do for your community with £120,000?  This is how much funding Grow Wild has available for you to create an amazing flagship site for a community in England.

Is there an unloved or disused area near to where you live that your community dreams of transforming?  Are you part of a local voluntary or community organisation, or a youth group, which is determined to take action and make a difference for your community?  Have you already started making plans on what that space would look like and how it could be used, transformed and improved by people?

A flagship site might be somewhere that you can reclaim for the community.  It might be somewhere that's a bit dull and neglected where people have great ideas on how to transform it.  You just need to tell us why and how you want to turn it into an inspiring place that everyone will use.

Find out more about flagship sites in England and who can apply for Grow Wild funding.

Groundwork is supporting Grow Wild, a dynamic programme to bring and inspire people and communities together to sow, grow and support UK native wild flowers.

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund and led by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Grow Wild aims to inspire people to get together to transform unloved urban sites, gardens and windowsills into wildlife-friendly wild flower patches.

Groundwork is helping to make sure the programme runs smoothly by processing applications and monitoring the progress of projects as they are brought to life.
