Groundwork UK is seeking to commission an organisation or individual to support plans to explore, create and implement crowdfunding campaigns to support fundraising by Friends of Parks Groups and young people, helping ensure sustainability of activities delivered as part of Future Proof Parks.
Future Proof Parks is a three-year project delivered by Groundwork and partners (NYA and Fields in Trust) with funds from the Heritage Lottery Fund’s (HLF) Kick the Dust programme.
Proposals are sought from organisations or individuals who can support Friends of Groups and young people design campaigns and identify suitable crowdfunding platforms in order to generate interest and funds.
The successful tenderer is likely to have experience in the following areas:
- identification and usage of a variety of crowdfunding platforms
- advising and supporting crowdfunding campaigns that increase fundraising activity for community organisations, preferably within the environmental sector, for example, parks/green space projects
- supporting crowdfunding led by young people and/or community groups
- offering technical support in easy to understand terminology
