Building on an existing relationship with Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH), Groundwork was asked to develop and deliver a project that would see the progression of Green Team candidates employed on a fixed term contract to complete improvement projects on RBH land.

We trained a group of local volunteers to help people in their homes with the aim of combating fuel poverty. Groundwork was commissioned by East Oldham District Partnership to design, promote and deliver a pilot project to address fuel poverty issues in private sector housing in St Mary’s Ward, Oldham.
