SuDS Retrofit Project Lead

Salary: £26,930 - £31,240 per annum 
37 hours per week

Base: Stoke on Trent with travel across the West Midlands

This post is part funded by European Regional Development Funds (ERDF)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Landscape Architect with knowledge and experience of designing and implementing Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDs) schemes.  This will include your ability to undertake the full scope of landscape architect responsibilities to a high standard and client expectations, ensuring these projects are conducted within budget and on time.

With a proven track record of securing new business from both the private and public sector, you will also be successful in developing bids and funding applications.

As part of this role you will:

  • deliver high quality landscape, green infrastructure and public realm projects across the West Midlands;
  • manage the design and implementation of a range of landscape improvement projects in partnership with public, private and voluntary sector organisations across the West Midlands;
  • work effectively with other members of the team to oversee the delivery of a programme of high quality landscape improvement projects.
  • develop and grow Groundwork West Midlands offer in relation to SuDS and the wider Water Framework Directive.

 

Working with our Landscape and Community teams, you must have experience of GIS mapping, AutoCad and National Building Specification (NBS), together with an understanding of the practical application of CDM regulations.  Masterplanning and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) experience would also be an advantage.
