Live in Warrington or Cheshire and need help getting into employment?
An innovative new project can help. The New Leaf project supports residents across Cheshire to get either closer to, or into employment.
New Leaf will help boost your confidence and unlock your true potential by providing training, helping you develop skills and giving you opportunities to improve your personal aspirations.
New Leaf will be with you every step of the way to:
- Provide skills advice that's right for you
- Put more money in your pocket
- Give you and your family a bright new future
Groundwork is one of the many partners involved in the New Leaf project and we support people from across Warrington and Cheshire to provide targeted local support that can help you:
- tackle financial problems
- manage the transition to Universal Credit
- resolve housing problems
- improve your skills
- boost your confidence
- improve your IT skills and
- improve your health & wellbeing.
New Leaf programme will be looking to support over 2,800 people from across Cheshire, enabling them to move closer to employment over three year until September 2019. The project has been allocated £10.6 million of funding through the Building Better Opportunities programme and is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund, which provides investment in local projects that increase economic development by investing in projects which will support skills development, employment and job creation, social inclusion and local community regeneration.
