Groundwork Creswell, Ashfield and Mansfield is part of the Groundwork federation
GCAM incorporated Cresta in 2000 to deal with additional regeneration activities that were not part of their charitable objectives. Crestra now mainly carries out construction and landscaping- related social and economic regeneration programmes at a local and regional level.
Crestra work towards enhancing the appearance of neighbourhoods whilst improving local property stock and community safety.
To achieve this, we aim to operate a number of programmes. Our areas of expertise include the following:
New build Housing and Property Services: Alongside providing many other property services such as extensions and renovations, Crestra has also carried out work which includes the construction of new buildings. One of the most recent new build projects is the construction of the two residential properties built to the Lifetime Homes criteria following the principles of accessibility, adaptability, sustainability, inclusivity and good value.
Commercial and Residential Renovation: Crestra has a long history of commercial and public building services which includes refurbishment, restoration and extensions. Many of the projects Crestra work on include transforming and renovating old derelict commercial and residential units into newly renovated buildings.
Conversion: Crestra have great history in converting commercial units into residential properties. Some of these conversions have including transforming an old neglected community centre into 3 new modern homes and renovating an empty doctor’s surgery into 5 individual flats.
Commercial and Domestic Housing Insulation: Crestra has a long history of offering on installing full housing insulation on properties in the area. As a homeowner, tenant or business you can achieve great savings on your energy bills and help the environment by increasing the insulation to your property and reducing carbon emissions.
Property Services and Neighbourhood Security: Providing a variety of property services in the area, Crestra has carried out work including alterations, refurbishments, caretaking, joinery, plumbing, basic maintenance and handy person services. This may be small scale on one property or on a much larger scale such as whole village developments. We also run programmes to improve the safety and security of neighbourhoods, installing solar powered wireless alarm systems as well as other home security measures.
Landscape, Design, Play and Leisure: Crestra has contributed to various major landscaping projects in the area including allotments, school and park playgrounds and major land maintenance schemes. We can draw on a deep knowledge pool that allows us to offer a full service from initial consultation and design to full implementation.
Kitchen and Bathroom Installation:Crestra can offer qualified trade professionals to manage the installation and fitting of bathrooms and kitchens in private or commercial properties.
Values- Our Projects aim to deliver benefits:
For people: Creating opportunities for people to work together and learn new skills
