How your money makes a difference.
Here are just some of the ways your money can make a difference:
£50 means a Groundwork Environmental Education Officer can run a session with a group of school children, teaching them about growing their own healthy vegetables
£100 buys and installs two water butts on an community allotment, for residents to use as they grow their own fruit and vegetables.
£150 pays for a home visit from one of our trained energy advisors. They're skilled at helping elderly and vulnerable people out of fuel poverty and showing them how to live in a warmer, greener way.
£250 builds a raised planting bed for a group of people with disabilities, giving them access to the delights of gardening.
£600 supports one person to improve their mental wellbeing through a programme of 20 sessions of horticultural support and learning.
£1,000 helps a disadvantaged young person into education, employment or training through a six week training scheme.
£10,000 helps to refurbish a local play area.
