How your money makes a difference.
Here are just some of the ways your money can make a difference:
£40 means a Groundwork Education Officer can run a session with a group of school children, teaching them about growing their own healthy vegetables
£100 buys and installs two water butts on an community allotment, for residents to use as they grow their own fruit and vegetables.
£150 pays for a home visit from one of our trained energy advisers on our Keep Warm Stay Well project. They're skilled at helping elderly and vulnerable people out of fuel poverty and showing them how to live in a warmer, greener way.
£250 builds a raised planting bed for a group of people with disabilities, giving them access to the delights of gardening.
£600 supports one person to improve their mental wellbeing through a programme of 20 sessions of horticultural support and learning.
£1,000 helps a disadvantaged young person into education, employment or training through a 6 week training scheme.
£10,000 helps to refurbish a local play area.
