Veg Cities Competition Terms and Conditions 2019

  1. There is one prize available via the Groundwork East Twitter account and via Groundwork East’s Facebook page. The prize on offer is:
    • A £50 voucher to be spent on a healthy eating initiate in your school
  2. The prize will be delivered to the winner and they will not be required to pay anything extra for postage and packaging.
  3. This competition is open during the ‘promotion period’, which runs from the time of this post until 12 midnight 29 March 2019 and Groundwork East reserves the right to alter the promotion period at any time.
  4. To enter this competition on Twitter you must ‘follow’ the Groundwork East Twitter account (@groundworkeast) and tweet a recipe, rap, poem or picture that teaches others about the benefits of eating healthy fresh fruit and vegetables. You can also send a photo of a healthy meal made in school or at home, or write a slogan to encourage others to try eating more vegetables.
  5. To enter this competition via Facebook you must ‘like’ Groundwork’s Facebook page and leave a comment with a recipe, rap, poem or picture that teaches others about the benefits of eating healthy fresh fruit and vegetables. You can also send a photo of a healthy meal made in school or at home, or write a slogan to encourage others to try eating more vegetables.
  6. To be eligible to win you must be a Luton resident.
  7. The winners will be chosen by Groundwork East from all eligible entries received throughout the promotion period. Groundwork East’s decision is final. The odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible entries received.
  8. Winners will be notified via their Facebook/Twitter account (depending on method of competition entry), or by way of a private message within a week of the promotion period ending. If we do not receive a response within two weeks we reserve the right to offer the prize to another entrant.
  9. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter. By participating you hereby release and hold harmless Facebook and Twitter from any and all liability associated with this promotion. By entering this competition, you agree to your information being processed in line with Groundwork East’s Privacy Notices. You can opt out of any further communication at any time by unsubscribing from emails or emailing Groundwork directly on communicationseast@groundwork.org.uk.
  10. This competition is not open to Groundwork employees, members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household.
  11. A maximum of one prize per person and per household will be awarded.
  12. Automated entries submitted by individuals or organisations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the entrant. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities, registrations, logins or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified.
  13. All users must adhere to good practice and our social media policy on their social media accounts, whereby no user should on their account engage in offensive language and/or hate speech that targets or isolates any individual or group/race/religion. Nor should the account be set up for the purpose or promotion of illegal activity.
