HR Administrator - Thames Water Programme

Fixed Term for 9 months with the possibility to extend

circa £21,600 pa

37.5 hours per week

Location:  Waterloo with travel to other offices as required


Groundwork London is a leading social and environmental regeneration charity, working with partners to build sustainable communities where individuals and enterprise prosper.  This position is an exciting opportunity to work in a key role in the delivery of our partnership programme with Thames Water.


We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our Programme Administration Team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual, who is capable of taking on all aspects of the role. As an experienced and part/fully CIPD qualified professional, you will have a sound knowledge of current HR policies and procedures, and be able to apply these to the HRM aspects of the Thames Water Programme, and your support of the Trust’s overall HRM practices. You will be responsible for ensuring all personnel data and information is securely maintained and recorded accurately within the HR systems and HRMIS database (SelectHR). The role will also involve providing assistance to the Corporate Services Manager in developing HRM processes and procedures across the Groundwork London Trust.


The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a busy project orientated environment. The role will be located centrally with occasional travel across the capital, and therefore experience and an understanding of the challenges of working across multiple sites is desirable. Knowledge of working with HR systems and utilising HR policies and procedures is essential.
