Achievement Coaches London

Groundwork London Achievement Coaches Programme

The Achievement Coaches programme places specialist coaches alongside young people to help them improve their prospects in education, employment or training.

Groundwork's Achievement Coaches are youth practitioners with expertise in youth work, careers advice and coaching. Each coach manages a caseload of young people, who are either not in education, employment or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming so (pre-NEET). We offer the focus and support of a trusted adult through one-to-one sessions and group work.

Achievement Coaches build the self-confidence of the young people we work with, and encourage a positive attitude to engaging with education and training. We seek out and provide tangible opportunities while also assisting young people with their personal and learning progress.

We work with schools, colleges, pupil referral units (PRU), training providers, national and local government bodies and in partnership with businesses to get young people on track to succeed.

The Achievement Coaches programme is funded by the Skills Funding Agency, which in turn is funded the European Social Fund.
