Groundwork London is part of the Groundwork federation
Groundwork's Achievement Coaches are youth practitioners with expertise in youth work, careers advice and coaching. Each coach manages a caseload of young people, who are either not in education, employment or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming so (pre-NEET). We offer the focus and support of a trusted adult through one-to-one sessions and group work.
Achievement Coaches build the self-confidence of the young people we work with, and encourage a positive attitude to engaging with education and training. We seek out and provide tangible opportunities while also assisting young people with their personal and learning progress.
We work with schools, colleges, pupil referral units (PRU), training providers, national and local government bodies and in partnership with businesses to get young people on track to succeed.
The Achievement Coaches programme is funded by the Skills Funding Agency, which in turn is funded the European Social Fund.

We focus on the big picture, providing tailored support to help young people overcome their barriers and return to education, employment or training.
We place specialist youth practitioners alongside individual school students to help them achieve their full potential, and avoid missing out on education, employment or training.
