Landscape maintenance service
Our team of Chartered Landscape Architects offer a full design service - from translating your aspirations into a viable design to implementation and maintenance of the final scheme.
We believe in delivering innovative, practical, and high quality design solutions and a professional service in communities that need it most. Our community specialists encourage community and client involvement in each stage of the design process and we bring best practice in design, consultation and project management to all our landscape projects. We design spaces that users love and care for.
What sets Groundwork apart is our commitment to the environment and local communities. We focus on maximising public benefit from public space, configuring them to promote health and wellbeing, support economic development and tackle environmental sustainability. We are passionate about using green infrastructure to help adapt to and mitigate against climate change, using solutions such as sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) , green roofs and utilising waste heat to power schemes.
We can help to maximise social value by using our in-house landscape contractors, Blue Sky North, to deliver part or all of schemes. Blue Sky is a social enterprise which competes in the commercial market place whilst employing only ex-offenders and supporting them to access long term employment. Our commitment to social value means we can help public sector commissioners to adhere to the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012.
Groundwork is committed to ensuring that our work is delivered according to recognised environmental and quality standards.
