We are always keen to hear from people with the drive and determination to make a difference, and have lots of different ways you can get involved.
“We work with local communities, not for them. It’s about involving people in the regeneration process in such a way that they can take the lead for themselves"
Whether you’re looking to gain work experience and broaden your horizons, fulfill a passion in environmental, youth or community issues or simply want to give a few hours a week to a cause that benefits your community, Groundwork can help.
We offer both occasional, informal volunteer opportunities helping out on our projects and also more formal placement opportunities supporting programmes such as the Achievement Coach programme.
We can also put you in touch with local organisations that we know are looking for volunteers.
Once we’ve received the form we’ll get in touch to let you know if we have anything available. Alternatively call 0161 220 1000 and ask for the form to be posted out to you or for someone to complete it with you over the phone.
Any more formal volunteering opportunities will be advertised in the vacancies section of our web-site so please keep checking back to see what’s on offer.
