Lasting Legacy is a project in Kirklees to support those who have a diagnosis of a life-limiting condition. It offers individuals and their family, friends and carers opportunities to come together and take part in a range of activities. The sessions can enable them to create memories of special times spent together and make keepsakes for family and friends.
The activities on offer include arts and crafts, planting and growing, walking, wildlife and recording memories using film, photo and diaries.
Lasting Legacy will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays at locations across Kirklees. There is a nominal fee for each session. For more information please contact Groundwork's Leeds office 0113 238 0601.
The project is funded by Kirklees Council, the North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group and The Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group.
