We believe passionately that all children should have the chance to learn and play outside. We offer a range of outdoor education opportunities from growing in our community allotments to woodland activities.
We provide outdoor education for all children in two different centres as well as offering visits to schools.
Acre in Hunsbury Hill Northampton offers an enclosed woodland on the site of a historic farm.
The Green Patch is in the heart of the Grange and Avondale ward in Kettering. It is a vibrant, inspiring environment which offers a safe and enjoyable place for growing and exploring nature.
Outdoor education is a brilliant way for children to gain confidence, have new experiences, and learn in a fun and engaging way.
- We run sessions with a range of themes, including healthy eating, food production, health and wellbeing, conservation and nature. We link to both the EYFS, Key stage 1 and Key Stage 2 national curriculum.
- Our sessions are delivered by experienced staff with enhanced DBS disclosures (CRB) and food safety certification.
- Sessions can be tailor made to suit individual requirements
- We also offer an outreach program for schools.
