Street Eats

Do you live in Tees Valley or Durham? Would you like to grow your own fruit, vegetables and herbs but haven’t got a garden? This project will show you how to do just that!

You don’t need a huge space for growing your own food; a container, window box, verge, back alley or yard can all make fantastic spaces to give you a tasty crop.

You will be provided with all the tools, materials, plants and seeds you need as well as ongoing support, encouragement, training and events to get your whole community involved, including competitions, street meals and wild food walks.

Benefits

Learn how to grow your own fruit, vegetables and herbs at zero cost and in a fun way. Become more physically active, meet new people and get more connected with your local community.
