Volunteering

Groundwork is committed to involving volunteers in all of its activities as the organisation recognises that volunteers can make a huge contribution, enhancing and developing our aims and objectives to make a positive difference to individuals and communities, enabling individuals and communities in turn to access  a range of opportunities to improve their quality of life.

Whether you’re looking to gain work experience, develop your career, fulfill your passion in environmental issues/health & social care/ education/ employment or simply use your skills and give a few hours to support a cause that benefits your community, Groundwork is the organisation that can help you to do something special.

Volunteers are integral to Groundwork's workforce and we are committed to good practice in involving volunteers. Getting involved in one of our projects could put you in a strong position to obtain full-time work , it could improve your health and wellbeing, make a real difference, and even be fun. From administrative to practical ‘hands-on’ roles we can offer something to suit everyone.
