Skint! has been designed to be used in a wide range of educational settings. It can be used in groups or one to one and can involve a variety of exercises including discussions, role plays, games, goal setting and individual reflection.
The breadth of Skint! means facilitators have choices about what they would like to focus on and how best to engage the young people they work with. However, it is particularly effective if used in existing support programmes and as a starting point for discussing aspects of financial capability (making ends meet, keeping track of finances, planning ahead, choosing financial products and staying informed about financial matters).
