A traineeship is perfect for you if you are unemployed and looking for work, lack work experience and you want to improve your Maths and English skills.
You will learn skills such as planting out, preparing ground, pruning, using a mower, maintaining turf or constructing a path.
At Groundwork South we offer Horticulture traineeships in Cornwall, East and West Sussex and the Thames Valley.

Functional skills Level 1, together with the horticultural qualification and wok experience with a grounds maintenance team, is the perfect pathway to an apprenticeship or permanent gardening position. Occasional positions become available with Groundwork South.

A supported volunteering programme, helping unemployed residents in Littlehampton, Storrington, Pulborough - West Sussex, and Croydon - Surrey, over two years into work or other postive desitinations.
