Come and join our very popular and successful outdoor party team at Iver Environment Centre. IEC is located within a stunning 4.5 acre rural site between Slough and Uxbridge. We offer ‘nature themed’ weekend birthday parties to primary aged children (4-11 years) aimed at reconnecting them with the great outdoors. Our party themes - Wild Magic, Pirates and Princesses, Wilderness Survival and Bug Mania - include many fun and engaging activities such as pond dipping, treasure hunts, den building and nature crafts to name but a few.

We are looking for Party Assistants who have a passion for nature and enjoy working with children. You should have good communication skills and be happy to interact with children indoors and outdoors to enhance their birthday experience and safeguard their wellbeing. You should have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work co-operatively with others.

Key Tasks

  • Assist with the set-up of all birthday activities and resources.
  • Assist children safely through a variety of party activities
  • Clean up craft room and main foyer after birthday parties have finished
  • Work co-operatively with Party Leader to provide a fantastic birthday party experience for our clients.

You must be able to work at weekends and be prepared to work outdoors and get muddy. We are looking to recruit individuals who would be able to commit to a Saturday or Sunday every week during our busy period April – September. This could be a zero hours or annualised role based at IEC which ever would suit you better.
