SALARY: NMW – Under 20 - £6.95

21 to 24 - £7.38

 25 and over - £7.83

This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team working at the Energy Youth Centre. Which is a city centre based building delivering youth drop in and targeted youth work to any young people aged 11 to 17 years old.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and would be part of our team offering support to young people around a range of subjects including; employment skills, drugs and alcohol awareness, sexual health, healthy relationships, emotional wellbeing, mental health and BME. You will support the Project Officer in planning and delivery information and guidance sessions.

The Centre is open Monday, Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoon and evenings.

The Project Assistant (Youth) will support young people engaged within Groundwork South’s youth work. This will entail supporting harder to reach young people as well as young people deemed vulnerable or at risk. You will actively work with the Project Officer to deliver effective and relevant support in order to enable young people to develop both socially and personally.
