On Friday 2 February community groups that have benefitted from the Tesco Bags of Help scheme took to Twitter to promote the positive impact that the funding has had on their local community.
Those who tweeted were entered into a competition to win a further £100 for their projects.
Groups from all over the UK sent films, photos, and tweets to shout about what they have spent their Bags of Help grant on to celebrate the 10,000 project milestone that totalled an amazing £43 million that has been invested in local communities. You can read some of the posts by clicking here.
Thank you to all groups that got involved – it was a truly inspirational day. We will be contacting the 10 groups that have bagged the additional £100 over the next few days.
