Motivating young people Wakefield

Our creative and dynamic Youth Workers, along with the Community Engagement Team work with young people to improve their prospects, give them opportunities to get involved in local community activities and support them to achieve their goals.

Working in both a school and outreach capacity we can offer young people the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of exciting activities.

What we can offer:

  • Involvement in the design and delivery of local improvement projects working with our Community Team and Landscape Architects
  • Support in school to achieve their goals through our Achievement Coaches program
  • Supported volunteering opportunities with our Countryside Park Rangers team
  • Opportunities to get more involved in sporting activities with our Sported at Whitwood project
  • Guidance and support to develop Growing Gangs and Gardening Clubs within Schools and other community venues
