We have been delivering this provision for over a year in Coventry and Stoke-on-Trent. Our unique delivery process, and staff knowledge and skills, have made this possible, identifying suitable customers and tailoring a journey for them to move them into employment.
Our model starts with a referral, followed by an initial assessment that will determine existing skills/needs/barriers and identifying appropriate learning skills. Our team will then develop an individual learning plan, provide personalised vocational training and employability support, and brokered interviews with employers guaranteeing starts for attendees meeting minimum requirements.
We currently run a 2 week employability programme which involves looking at essential application skills, preparation for interviews and writing an appealing CV. We have also introduced Financial Confidence and Cooking and Eating well on a budget into our provision.
