“In 30 years, my career as a landscape architect has come full circle.
Starting out, as an undergraduate in environmental sciences in Sheffield, I attended some of the first lectures in the Greenhouse effect, climate change and its environment impacts. Lectures highlighted the relationship between ecology, geology, climate and soil science.
At the time, climate change was almost unheard of and was certainly not on the wider social and political agenda. Fast forward to today, and I’m working on one of the UK’s most pioneering environmental projects focusing on tackling the effects of climate change.”
