We work across the East of England to create a fair and green future in which people, places and nature thrive. We do this by providing one to one support,  transforming unloved green spaces, getting more people outside enjoying the natural world and supporting individuals and businesses to reduce their environmental impact.

Measuring our impact means understanding how our programmes and services address the social and environmental challenges the people and groups we work with are facing. To do this we collect information about our activity and use this to learn what’s working well and understand what we could do better.

We place our activity under three core themes:

Planet

The average individual’s annual carbon footprint in the UK has been estimated as 12,000 kg CO2e.

We work with individuals, communities and orgnaisations to identify ways to reduce emissions and in 2022/23 we identified:

  • 118,2034kg of CO2e of potential carbon savings from our support to households through programmes such as Green Doctor
  • A whopping 6,945899kg CO2e of potential carbon savings by the businesses we worked with by providing services such as tailored carbon reduction plans
