Chris Dungate

Chris  is Operations & Development Director for Groundwork East. Chris has over 17 years’ experience of designing, developing and delivering youth, training & skills and community projects.  He has a degree in Outdoor Education & Adventure Recreation and is a JNC qualified youth worker.

Chris joined the Trust in 2005 as an apprentice and has undertaken several roles, including Youth Worker and Employment Manager and became Operations Manager in 2016.  He was instrumental in the expansion of Groundwork East’s work into Cambridgeshire and Essex, developing relationships and projects across the counties. 

As well as managing six teams across the three counties, Chris works with a wide range of industry sectors including education, construction and quarrying & aggregates leveraging in funding, strategic relationships and business development.
