Kerry Stranix Communications, Impact & Evaluation manager

Kerry is Communications, Impact and Evaluation Manager at Groundwork East. She has 20 years’ experience in the environmental third sector, designing and delivering campaigns, securing funding and developing evaluation and impact approaches.

Kerry has a Master’s degree in environmental policy from the University of East Anglia where her research focused on the role of environmental NGOs in the policy process.  She remains committed to issues of climate and social justice and the role the third sector plays in creating opportunities for more people to feel the benefits of nature.

Joining Groundwork East in 2019 as development manager, Kerry was involved in securing funds for a range of programmes and projects. In 2022 she undertook a secondment with Groundwork UK to develop an impact measurement framework for the federation. The framework focuses on demonstrating the difference Groundwork makes and understanding how the organisation can use impact data to improve its services.

On return to Groundwork East in 2023 Kerry was appointed to lead on communications and impact, in recognition of the importance of focusing the Trust’s messages on how our activity benefits people, places and the planet.
